indigo feelings
vibrant and stirring 
causing emotions that create more commotion
sifting thru the turmoil and tribulations left by other hues
concealing imprints that burgundy reds and sky blue left lingering 
gently sweeping away the fall out from fuchsia and violets
any and all evidence of residue is replaced by indigo feelings 
pigmented and staining the inside of their mind 
were other colors faded over time
leaving a faint remembrance of the past tints
that left their own impressions and helped shape them into a self perseverance
slipping away as time grew past days and into years
letting indigo feelings have their moment

Old Man Death

Old man death toils away day by day

unwanted guest at parties 

ignored salesman at the doorstep 

and the child's forgotten homework due to ignorance

Ignored and forgotten 

Tormented by the crass words of humanity 

who don't realize the importance of old men death 

Those who put their spiritual responsibilities on hold 

to live their carefree ways 

but as the hourglass slowly times out 

the mad rush for heaven's line begins 

Old man death waits patiently like the cat for the bird 

The mother who spends whole life protecting her child from old man visit forgets about her own appointment 

Or those who live in the fear of the only doorbell ringing 

are still surprised to hear the sweet sound of it’s tinkling 

And the doctor has spends everyday saving others precious seconds of their lives 

can't even save himself when death comes a knocking 

Old man death toils away everyday 

trying to find his own place
